Sexiness in our culture
There is sex everywhere now in our culture. You can't really get away from it. In today's culture, sex is very important. In today's worlds, it can sell anything. In commercials it's used to sell fragrances, clothes, cars, television, and much more other things. Sex is popular because even from people hating it, they are still bringing attention to it. This gets other peoples' attention to the material and the sex. There positive and negative aspects with having sex more popular in our culture. The positives are that there is more knowledge about how to have safe sex and consequences of unsafe sex, STD s, the topic of sex is more open to talk about, and helps the economy, because sex sells. The negatives of sex being so popular is; unwanted pregnancies, over exposed in media, and diseases. I am glad that there is some sex now in our entertainment because then the world will become more open with their minds that there is love for everyone and it is not a crime. The bad part about this though too, is that people will disagree and start to shame others with different beliefs. There will most always be sex in our culture and it will be popular.

I agree with you in that sex will always be popular in our culture. I think this is so because everyone has to face the sexual world at some point in their lives. Whether it's dealing with their own sexual orientation or actual sex, people will see it, hear of it, and possibly engage in it, so it's best that everyone is open and aware of the details in order to keep themselves safe. When it comes to sex helping sell in the media, I believe this will always be an effective technique for companies to solicit products as well because, as we both mentioned, it's seen everywhere and since everyone is involved with sex, so everyone is targeted and intrigued.
